Description:
CarbonRun is developing a ruggedized, autonomous river water quality monitoring platform to enable year-round measurement of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) in Nova Scotia's challenging northern river environments. Building on an existing sensor integration program, this project will validate fit-for-purpose pH sensing technology for ultra-low conductivity freshwater and engineer climate-resilient sensor housing prototypes capable of withstanding winter freeze-thaw cycles and high-velocity flow events.
