The project goal is to hire two support staff: one person with qualifications in marketing and another with a science degree in environmental studies to manage the Cattail Bio-platform Harvesting System –validation/verification applied R&D project._x000D_ _x000D_ This project thus proposes the testing of an innovative technology to reduce nutrient loading from wastewater systems, with potentially wider commercial applications. The ultimate goal of this pilot project is to perfect the design of floating cattail bio-platforms for deployment in a wide range of aquatic ecosystems in rural (and possibly suburban) settings across Manitoba and Canada._x000D_
