Description:

The key project outcomes will be: #1. The advancement of the IFS DF system hardware design and software to the point of it being to handle most of the HC/Methane emissions in-cylinder for substitution rates of up to 55%. #2. For substitution rates above 55%, the development of the first commercially available low temperature advanced methane catalyst (Hardware and Software) for Class 8 HD trucks. This development will allow for Dual-Fuel technology to be incorporated into Class 7 and 8 trucks on a factory OEM level instead of just as a after market upgrade or after the end of useful life as it is currently in the USA.
