By adopting common sawmill based technologies such as photocell, PLC or PC, encoder and/or laser range finder technology, this project will enable dangerous, inefficient, wasteful existing industrial firewood processors to become safe, efficient, and less dependent on an operator and will utilize each log to its best possible use. This project will leverage technology to bring modernization to the firewood processing industry.
