Miovision plans to expand its expertise in traffic analytics and computer vision to enable enhanced situational awareness on the roadway. This will allow Miovision’s traffic operations solutions to detect traffic events and provide real-time alerts to traffic operations centres using APIs and through a user interface. It will also allow Miovision to report on surrogate safety measures, helping transit authorities to improve the safety and efficiency of roadways for all road users.
