The project aims to reduce the amount of Cr(VI) in Portland cement and the risks to health and the environment. To move towards this goal, the intern will become familiar with the various aspects of the problem and the solutions being considered. He will contribute to the development of certain Cr measurement protocols and the development of strategies for chemistry control levels of this contaminant in the cement.
