Biofilms in aqueous systems represent considerable health, operational and financial risks to society be it in medical devices, oils and gas systems, waste water treatment, cooling systems or potable water systems. Biofilms are persistent bacterial colonies resistant to all but the most aggressive chemical and mechanical treatments. The project will support the Company in developing and commercializing the existing IP of the Company to meet an industry biofilm inhibition/control need currently unmet by extant technology
