Description:
This project is an industrial engineering and lean manufacturing implementation project into PBN's operation, processes, business and manufacturing systems for higher efficiency and productivity. The project smart goals are to shorten manufacturing lead time by min 25%, to increase the system throughput (productivity) by min 35 %, to reduce scrap & rework amount by minimum %20 and to reduce operational cost (COGM) by minimum 15%. This project is to be executed in three phases: P1) Plant layout design and implementation, P2) Continuous Improvement Program and Strategy development and deployment, P3) Inventory Management and Control System development and Implementation. PBN will hire a senior level manufacturing / process engineer and get technical support from a Consulting Firm as a part of project. IRAP will be funding both of them for the first year.
