Skaha Remote Sensing Ltd. has developed a microwave soil moisture sensor and field-tested prototypes in 2017. It was found that a few modifications would lead to significant improvements in sensitivity and versatility. Furthermore, the sensors will be adapted to be usable on a variety of farm machinery.
