Description:
The principle objective is to identify an alternative wear resistant technology to chrome plating in anticipation of more stringent restrictions on the use of chrome and chrome plating processe. The new wear resistant technology will, however, need to provide at least equivalent chemical, impact and wear resistance. Quantified performance indicators will include lifetime, cost, deposition time, as well as key performance indicators of the final product like capacity and efficiency.
