Description:

Microbix has recently increased its production capacity of Rubella product and reduced manufacturing costs by developing and implementing a new, automated bioreactor production platform for production of Rubella virus, its largest and fasted growing product line. Customers around the world, have provided good feedback and have begun transition of their regulated medical devices to use Microbix’ bioreactor product. As a consequence of this customer demand, Microbix will initiate a new project to debottleneck and streamline the purification process: to reduce process steps, increase step automation and to introduce new process control test methodologies.
