This project is submitted under Fast Pilots (USA) initiative. A novel, cost-effective technology that incorporates electrodialysis reversal (EDR) step with monovalent selective ion-exchange membrane - (mEDR) to soften (remove scaling species) from FGD wastewater generated by coal-fired power plant. The project will comprise building and operating pilot plant in at the Southern USA power utility.
