  1. Attract and serve the who’s who of science and innovation policy from both the current leadership cadre as well as the next generation.
  2. Provide a venue for all voices, including those of women, minorities, and youth from across various regions, sectors, and generations—to collectively discuss the issues and challenges of science and innovation enterprises and offer solutions.
  3. Reinforce discussions and research around the science of science policy; and
  4. Provide the participants with training workshops regarding evidence-based decision making.
