Able Innovations will engage in a project to prototype and test a novel patient transfer device that allows for transfer to be performed without physical strain. This device will reduce the risk and rates of injuries to caregivers and patients, as well as free up overhead in healthcare facilities. This project will focus on the detailed design, analysis as well as experimental development of the novel transfer device with a goal to understand and address technical uncertainties.
