Description:
Trans-Plan “Mapping City Roads Assets” (MCRA) project transforms road asset data collection into a smart, digital logging tool, providing city infrastructures with updatable data knowledge. Our prototype, when commercialized, meets both immediate and future needs of municipalities and is applicable in Canada, the U.S. and abroad. The project will produce the first application --MCRA/StreetSigns-- of a future suite of applications that will comprise the MCRA product line. Varieties of the application will eventually include manual, semi-automated and fully-automated versions.
