Title:
Physical Model Experimentation to Validate “SAMICE”: A Smooth Particle and Multi-physics Numerical Simulation Tool for Ice Engineering Problems.
Agreement Number:
920152
Agreement Value:
$35,040.00
Agreement Date:
Jan 21, 2019 - Aug 31, 2019
Description:
The available numerical simulation tools for ice engineering do not or cannot model the hydrodynamic behavior of ice-structure interactions accurately. The simulation tool "SAMICE" overcomes this limitation and simulates realistic behavior of ice-structure interactions cost-effectively by harnessing the power of GPU computing. This proposed physical model experiment will help to validate the numerical model.
