The proposed project involves development of online calculator and supporting database to formulate and predict the performance of refined blends of wood and nonwood (i.e. agricultural) pulps that meet user-defined performance targets that cannot be achieved with commercially available wood pulps. These blends can improve the technical and economic performance of printing, writing, packaging, laminating and other papers.
