Description:

The project involves conducting multiple independent laboratory test on a 2 linear meter, 2 stage weighted resin plug utilized to abandoned non-commercial oil and gas wellbores. Resin Test include the following: 1. longevity of the resins, 2. effectiveness in deviated wellbores, 3. adhesion to different types of steel casing, 4. types of fluid that the resin will be set in, 5. wellbore condition / integrity, and 6. the temperature and pressure setting conditions of the resin 7. a toxicology review of the resins and a risk assessment of potential leaching of the resin plug after setting.
