Description:
This project's objective is to develop technological and manufacturing processes that apply Elsius’s proprietary biocompatible coating (EBS) to the inner lumen of PVC medical-grade tubing, which is widely used in hospitals in numerous disciplines. The EBS coating has not been used on the PVC medical grade tubing for medical use. This project will test and examine conditions under which the coating provides significant improvement of blood biocompatibility over products available in the market place.
