Description:

PEASI will provide more channels / options for the public to receive public emergency alerts via their Alertable app system. Emergency management officials recognize are seeking as many ways possible to reach the maximum number of people, in addition to cellular phones. PEASI plans to provide more smart technology channels than any competitor. To achieve that, the smart phone app will add new channels including the smart speaker channel (Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant smart devices) and instant messaging channels (Facebook Messenger, WhatApp, Snap, Slack, Microsoft Teams, etc).
