Description:

SMART EUREKA project ToolSense S0213 with participants from Sweden, UK and Canada that is lead by SECO in Sweden to develop upscale and commercialize a sensor-based smart tooling capable of online measurement and monitoring of forces, vibrations and temperatures in a machining process. Implement the sensor-based smart tooling in manufacturing of advanced aeronautic and hydraulic components and to embed the on-line monitoring into existing production technologies for Tool Conditioning Monitoring (TCM) in order to minimize product quality defects and to maximize process efficiency (Productivity enhancement and waste and cost reduction).
