Description:
The purpose of this project is to develop a repositioning system for people that spend extended periods of time in bed, but who are unable to reposition themselves. The developed system will allow both the user and the care provider to adequately reposition the bed occupant into a proper position without the need for physical labour, thus reducing the risk of injury while providing more dignity and independence for the user.
