Description:
Our new hire will be overseeing further research and development of our Canadian-based magnesium oxide board and aerated magnesium oxide insulation foam project. This work will incorporate the application of plastic waste fibers in both the magnesium oxide board and insulation foam as per the Plastic Challenge grant we received from Environment and Climate Change Canada. Further work is required to determine a production process for both products and to complete testing for both products to receive certification under CCMC (Canadian Construction Materials Certification). Once this has been accomplished, the challenge will be to begin commercial production of both products.
