Description:
The Canada-Brazil FAPESP 2019 Asclepius project led by Purileaf involves the development of cannabinoid/terpene formulation and drug delivery platform for the treatment of localized pain, soreness, and inflammation. The project is expected to generate pre-clinical evidence on the effectiveness of various formulations, develop topical product for commercialization in Canada, and develop scalable manufacturing process. Purileaf will the developer of the final product using their expertise in cannabinoid extraction. Mikron is the company's Brazilian partner and will be offering the necessary microencapsulation and formulation technology.
