Description:

The proposed project will involve the development of a standardized virtual reality (VR)-based upper gastrointestinal (GI) simulation-based training (SBT) curriculum leveraging through a digestive endoscopy VR training simulator along with enhancement of the hardware system to support training curriculum requirements. The standardized upper GI SBT curriculum will consist of highly configurable VR training content closely modeled on common esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) procedure training curriculum, AI based real time guidance during the training session, AI based comprehensive assessment/certification of the training session.
