Description:
GNP has developed the “EXPANDER-175” – a patented, 175 kW, modular, Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) power generation system that recovers waste heat from natural gas field compressors. It is specifically designed for oilfield applications and has been sized to use the reject heat from the most common compressor engines.
This project will involve the design, build and commissioning of a test facility to enable the demonstration of unit performance, in particular:
1) confirm that the new 'dry' seal system works as desired, and
2) confirm how much power the EXPANDER system can generate.
