Description:

Engineering organizations running a large number of microservices have consistent challenges in understanding the “big picture” and the relationships / dependencies between microservices. Understanding microservice dependencies is important for activities such as capacity planning, reliability planning (e.g., does a Tier 1 microservice call a Tier 4 microservice), and software architecture (e.g., ensuring no circular dependencies). This project will extend OpsLevel's current functionality by creating a mechanism to track microservice dependencies and allow users to explore/ query the dependencies between services.
