Integrate retail, online and production systems to enable same-day pickup and real-time preordering. This requires real-time production inventories and work in progress goods, which is built upon smart-manufacturing principles and practices.
Each business line will give end-users the ability to create real-time orders which will be fulfilled by the production system and process based on live inventory availability from across the system. New production orders will be generated, processed and delivered when inventory is not available.
