Description:

The work proposed will take an innovative approach to the control and prevention of ISAV infection using DNA/RNAi technology to prevent virus from causing infection by blocking their ability to survive on the host. We have developed a unique oral vaccination platform based on this technology which could be used for prevention of ISAV infection in farmed salmon. RPS has its proprietary fish meal additive that extends the self life of the fish meal. This product is plant based and we would like to test if this can be incorporated in the fish meal and that is safe for fish health. In other words, a safety test will be conducted using this RPS product.
