Description:
Marion is currently evaluating NRCs bActive software that enables real time soft tissue interaction inside the surgical simulator. NRC has done some work for Marion to make the software work with the Marion system. There are several unknowns with the NRC software and Marion has to do substantial technical testing on the bActive system to bench mark performance and capabilities before adopting and integrating the software. Marion will also evaluate the commercialization strategy and market opportunity for the PEA simulator developed by NRC and Bayer.
