Grants and Contributions:
Title:
Testing and Modification of the Deep Learning Software for Corrosion Detection in Subsea Assets Using Image Analysis
Agreement Number:
983274
Agreement Value:
$33,817.00
Agreement Date:
Feb 1, 2022 - Mar 31, 2022
Description:
Due to the diffused light environment at the subsea level, assessment of asset’s surface condition using visual inspection is difficult. Therefore, a digital solution with an ability to detect corrosion in the subsea environment can be an important component for the offshore asset inspection process.
Therefore, within this project frame, qualiTEAS intends to modify the existing deep learning application further to make it compatible with subsea asset’s corrosion inspection. This will be an extension of the application that will be ready at the end of the ongoing IRAP project.
