Description:
The goal of this project is to develop a wave forecasting system by modifying/improving the third-generation spectral wave model WaveWatch III®, based on Oceans Ltd.'s knowledge and understanding of ocean surface wave forecasting skills for the Grand Banks and Oceans Ltd.'s collected wave measurements in the past decades. The final product of this project will be a Linux computer scripted language-based software package combined with modified/improved WaveWatch III®. Operation of the software package will be automatized through Linux terminals.
