GDMs pipeline risk assessment solution provides a cost and time effective “out of the box” baseline risk score for every pipeline in Western Canada based on best-in-class oil and gas datasets. The systems and tools in this solution give industry access to a persistent database of pipeline risk information that is simple and easy to use, yet still delivers the complex information organizations need to effectively make better informed operational decisions. While this benchmark assessment provides a quality risk ranking, clients have identified the need to be able take control of the underlying risk scoring algorithms and risk mitigation mechanisms in order to truly represent their corporate definition of operational risk.
