Description:
With the onset of the HPAI-A (H5N1) Avian Flu endemic, the Toronto Zoo has engaged GCCW to develop and rapidly deploy an external enclosure capable of protecting the African Penguin exhibit from the Avian Flu. The enclosure must adequately protect the penguins without modifying the exhibit's footprint or impede visitor access to the exhibit. To accomplish this, GCCW aims to develop new construction technologies capable of isolating the exhibit from potential infection without altering the location, size, or access to the exhibit.
