Description:

SmartGRO has developed a proprietary horticultural lighting system which has been shown in controlled trials to use a significantly lower amount of energy to produce an equivalent quantity of biomass as compared to the horticultural lighting industry's top products. This technology offers a significant opportunity to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the agricultural sector and help the industry move closer toward net-zero production. The purpose of this project is to prepare smartGRO horticultural lighting products for validation in a comprehensive product demonstration where the luminary performance is analyzed for efficacy on a range of economically relevant greenhouse crops in both a laboratory and operational settings.
