As part of the international consortium project “Superior Powder Evaluation – Energy Dispersion By Active Laser Shaping”, this project will focus on beam shaping for the laser-powder bed fusion process. Beam shaping has the potential to significantly improve performance of L-PBF systems. This project will test 2 product lines of Equispheres powder evaluating the effect of beam shaping on production speed and part quality.
