Current industry guidelines do not recommend hole sizes for stamped holes in fine blanking application of <70% material thickness. In this development project Theta TTS is trying to determine if a viable manufacturing process can be developed for SAE J2340 Grade 340 material for hole sizes equal and less to 60%.
