Description:
NUNAFAB CORP and Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) have expressed interest in collaborating on the development of an innovative building facade solution. This innovative solution combines laminated ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) with organic solar film, resulting in a new Building-Integrated Organic Photovoltaic (BIOPV) system. By utilizing electron beam technology to apply different decorative thin films to the concrete material's surface, the UHPC concrete facades can be visually enhanced while simultaneously generating electricity to power buildings. This energy-producing facade panel can be smoothly integrated into the building envelope.
