Description:
Lung cancer is a leading cause of death in Canada, with a low survival rate for patients with advanced disease. The standard treatment, surgery, is invasive and risky, and contraindicated for patients with comorbidities. This project aims to develop a new device for lung lesions to provide a minimally invasive treatment option for these lesions with reduced complication risks compared to existing techniques.
