Description:

The firm has developed an industrial membrane electrolysis process and electrolyser cell equipment for the electrochemical conversion of lithium chloride or lithium sulphate solutions into battery grade lithium hydroxide. Broadly, our clients are in the mineral processing, lithium-ion battery production and recycling sectors. Increasingly, clients are looking for the firm to take on a larger scope in pre-treatment of their unique brines, which is critical for electrolysis performance. This project aims to develop and improve a number of Firm’s specific brine treatment processes to improve operations of our electrolysis processes. In addition, test systems will be operated to validate electrolyser performance with the new brine specifications.
