Description:
A high oxygen transmission rate (OTR) is required by FDA for vacuum skin packaging (VSP) fresh seafood, to ensure a fully aerobic environment that prevents the activation of Clostridium Botulinum. The firm has developed a proof of concept (PoC) for the first known high OTR fully-compostable film for use in VSP. In this project, the PoC will be further optimized, using the pilot line to test & scale the process.
