Description:
This project will be focused on building a highly scalable, high performance cloud hosted backend that will be used to drive integrated android tv sports applications for pay tv service providers. Key features of the project will include sports metadata ingestion, management and delivery (historical and realtime), per service provider live schedule data (integrated with sports data), user persistence (favorites and profiles), ingestion and alignment with additional external data sources (ex: Youtube highlights) and a fully functioning android tv application that will provide an enhanced and engaging user experience for sports fans designed for integration with existing pay tv services.
