Description:

KMW is designing, building and operating protype system which will gasify and combust contaminated biosolids containing Per- and Polyfluorinated Substances (PFAS). The proposed system is engineered to operate in either combustion mode or gasification mode, offering flexible processing capabilities to produce heat and either ash or biochar as end products. This project supports ongoing efforts to develop effective methods for PFAS destruction and resource recovery through innovative high temperature gasification and combustion technology.
