This exploratory project supports Canadian Defence objectives by assessing Chromium VI free passivation technologies against the most recent aircraft specifications. The work advances modern Cr³ VI/sulfuric anodizing; strengthens environmental and regulatory compliance through facility modernization; and reduces airborne Cr VI emissions (~29%). It positions the firm to support DND, NATO, and allied defence procurement while maintaining broad applicability across commercial aviation.
