Description:
Ripple Therapeutics Corporation is a clinical stage, privately held company that is focused on ophthalmic therapeutics with controllable, sustainable drug delivery. The Ripple pipeline currently has a number of drug conjugates under development targeting key ocular indications including dry age-related macular degeneration (dry AMD). AMD is the leading cause of vision loss in people over the age of 55, affecting approximately 2.5 million Canadians. It is estimated that up to 90% of AMD cases are dry AMD, and there are no therapeutic treatment options for dry AMD. Scientific and engineering resources will perform work on the manufacturability of Ripple’s complement factor B conjugates (RTC-CFBs) for the treatment of dry AMD.
