Description:
CIIP Singapore -PEGASUS-BPE-CAR-T: Cell and gene therapy manufacturing faces major bottlenecks due to low-yield, high-cost, and difficult-to-scale plasmid DNA systems that limit efficient viral production. Pegasus Bio and CellVec are partnering to commercialize a high-performance plasmid DNA vector platform optimized for CAR-T and CAR-NK manufacturing. The project delivers a cost-effective, scalable, and regulatory-ready solution for gene delivery, improving expression, safety, and production efficiency. The PB BPE plasmid system will be offered to CGT developers through licensing and CDMO partnerships, with GMP processes transferred to qualified manufacturers. Joint IP will be protected through global patents, and a targeted market campaign will support commercialization.
