The main expected results are networking and collaboration with other countries and international organzations, with the sharing of the knowledge to the Canadian sector.

The objective is to support the competitiveness of Canada's natural resource sectors through a comprehensive suite of research, development, demonstration, and RSA projects leading to advances in technology, increased knowledge and collaboration, input into codes, standards and associated policies and regulations, and ultimately improved environmental and economic performance.
