The purpose of this project is to use Traditional Knowledge to identify caribou corridors, both historical and present day, which will inform optimized landscape and site-specific habitat protection, conservation and restoration priorities for the stabilization and recovery of caribou populations.

Signage, plaques and interactive media content developed through the use of an interactive interview process using maps will be created at an existing seasonal cabin at Bistcho Lake 213 to preserve and promote the unique knowledge of Dene Tha' First Nation for the restoration of their landscapes and wildlife.
