Description:
The primary objectives of this project are (1) to determine the extent and geodynamic controls of recently discovered carbonatitic magmatism in the Superior Boundary Zone (Manitoba), (2) establish the mechanisms of rare-earth element (REE) transport and concentration in plate-collision zones, and (3) to provide a basis for refining REE exploration methods.
