Title:
Coupled melt inclusion-zircon analysis to evaluate magma fertility, oxidation state, sulfur saturation and volatile contents in Archean VMS-related volcanic assemblages
Agreement Number:
GC-130025S
Agreement Value:
$94,985.00
Agreement Date:
Sep 3, 2021 - Mar 31, 2023
Description:
The objective of this project is to quantify the pre/post-eruptive metal and volatile content, oxygen fugacity, temperature and sulfide saturation states of volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS)-related volcanic liquids in the Kidd Creek and Doyon-Bousquet-LaRonde mining camps, with an aim to identify differences in magmatic parameters that may have led to different VMS endowments and metal tenors.
